Continuing my A to Z journey through my reasons for not writing
Y is for Yakityyak
Talking about the work in progress is the surest way, at least for me, to loose my writing mojo. Once I have reached a certain point talking about a plot or character, there is no sense writing about it, right? I guess it’s my inherent pragmatism or rather laziness that causes this. Some people can talk their way through plot holes with friends or chat about how to show character development but not me. Talked about it, I’m done what’s next.
I love to talk through plot holes. It is my process.
I imagine you have heard plenty of plot hole chatter from me. So what is your favorite kind of critique? Interested in your thoughts. 🙂

I can talk after things are written. But I can’t talk until the first draft is down. I’m a mathematician so if the story is spoken it’s a previously solved problem!
