Just for fun, that is 240 words per hour. Not terrible.
Analysis:
Writing took a bit of a back seat to reading this week. For some reason, I felt it was a great idea to go back and read all of my Nanowrimo novels this past few days. 14 or so. And while I adore the stories, I could see that they definitely need rewriting if I want to do anything with them. So I am starting a rewrite/reworking of A Purse Drivel Life.
I am also obsessed lately with the intersection of anxiety and curiosity, so I am reading some research studies and writing a few stories for Medium to see if there is enough research and interest out there for a nonfiction book. I have already found a few studies online, but I may take advantage of the vast University Library and look for some local research (dissertations, etc.) and use that. While there are studies about this connection, I haven’t found any books for laypeople on the subject. It’s something I would like to learn about and read, so therefore, I will take Toni Morrison’s advice and write the book I would like to read.
