I is for freedom, and I is for being smart and I is for being kind and I is for important. (Okay, I was typing that with Abileen Clark’s voice in my head.)
I have to admit though that Imagination, an important part of writing, is one of my greatest excuses for not writing. If I can imagine how good the story will be, how well received it will be, the movie trailer, Jennifer Lawrence begging me to write a sequel so she can star again…then why bother writing the book? Or worse, the words actually out on paper cannot possibly do justice to the world in my head.
I guess all I can do is keep trying and get a little closer to my ideal with every book.

It’s nice to hear someone else has an imagination that does that to her, too. I have a story going on in my head that I think of Rainn Wilson, Jack Black, and Kathy Bates playing the parts on the film. It also had Philip Seymour Hoffman, alas. I don’t know who would play that part now.
