So, I took French in 7th-9th grade, plus four semesters at college. None of which meant that I could understand a French speaker in any situation. So I thought maybe I would use my screen time a bit more productively. I got this app, which rewards you like a good video game, and a kindle version of Harry Potter in the French. This should be fun, right? Can’t get past the first page of the book yet, but there are worse ways to spend ten hours, right?
