But what if some of us
prefer not to break the ice
to stay in our hard cubes
until time melts us together
more organically

Instead,
time is short
and we only have
thirty minutes
to do
what should take days, weeks
months or even years

little questions and games
are the microwave of relationships
and can leave a bit
of a fake taste

and relationships that appear during the event
evaporate soon after the closing gavel
when the ice reassembles
since it stays in pieces and refreezes
rather then melt and freeze
in a new united form.
