I swatch each color
to test and see
how the pigment ranges
from strength and vibrancy
to the barest trace.

My work as well
starting strong, but
losing color and steam, energy
fading
the ending a shadow of
the opening line
everything gets diluted
and fades out.

So go my days, lately
as well.
But better to get diluted and softer
then deluded and
louder
